Mira Anwar Awad
Palestinian Actress, Singer and Songwriter.
Born in 1975 to Palestinian Father-Anwar, and Bulgarian mother-Snejanka, in an Arab village in the north of Israel.
Studied music in Rimon school for Jazz and contemporary music, Tel-Aviv. 1996-2000.
Currently living in Tel-Aviv and working as an actress in Hakameri theatre, and appears on TV series: "Arab work" and "Noah's Ark". Also participated in "the bubble", a film by director Eithan Fux.
Recorded the theme songs for movies: "Forgiveness" by director Udi Aloni, and "Lemon Tree" by director Eran Riklis.
Co-operated with international star Noa in her Album "Now", in a version to the Beatles song "we can work it out". Co-wrote and performed a song with world music artist Idan Raichel, also appears in album of live performance in Athins of Greek legend George Dalaras.
Nowadays Mira is in the last stages of recording her debut album "Bahlawan". The songs in the album were written and composed by Mira, and are musically produced by Israeli guitarist Amos Ever-Hadani. |
