MARIZA, FROM MOURARIA TO THE WORLD

2004 has been a great year for Mariza, since she has beaten many records: she has achieved many awards, magazine covers, tv performances... Internationally adopted as the fado ambassador in the world, Mariza has recorded with Sting - "A thousand years"-, as well as with Teresa Salgueiro and Maria Joao -"Faz a Magia Voar" charity song- , she has sung together with Cesaria Evora -at the Grec Festival, within the Barcelona Forum-, she has triumphed in her tours inr Europe, US Egypt... She has been the first person ever to sing Portuguese national anthem in the Paliament of that country... And what's more: she means to do it even better this year, including the release of a new album in Spring. We will verify this in her coming tours in July and October. |
