MARIZA, "TRANSPARENTE" TOUR 2006

Mariza, the greatest ambassador of Portuguese fado, will be touring in Spain on March 2006. She will be performing her last album, "Transparente" (EMI) in a unique show where ww will find a mature amazing Mariza singind a beautiful repertoire in whith she sings
poems by Florbela Espanca, Fernando Pessoa o Alexandre O’Neill.
Although tje tour is not completely closed yet, we can tell that she will be singing in Ourense, A Coruña, Salamanca, Castelló, Donostia and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Through year 2005, “Transparente” has sold out at audioriums of the five continents, and has achieved geat success at many itnernational festivals (Chicago, San Francisco, El Cairo, Macao, Moscú...) 20.000 enthusiastic people listed to her at Rock in Rio in Lisboa, 30.000 in Aveiro, 22.000 in Monsanto...
Fado jumps to the world in the transparent words that Mariza sings wiht all her heart. In fact, she just wants to feel "free to sing" - “the voice that I have is stubborn…” –, it has within it a yearning which is constantly seeking its own fado.
But there is just one way to know the reason way her fado is causing sensation: listening to her, singing live. |
